Avnet Embedded seminar gives exclusive insight into the latest and future embedded technologies

Microsoft®, Intel, Kontron, Toshiba and Cinterion to present latest technologies under one roof

Poing, Germany, 3 March 2010 – Avnet Embedded, an Avnet, Inc. (NYSE:AVT) company, is bringing its’ successful Embedded Solutions Seminar to Denmark, Sweden and Finland, and giving Nordic Embedded Developers the opportunity to join exclusive presentations on Windows® Embedded Standard 7, the Intel Atom, and other key technologies by specialists from Microsoft, Intel, Toshiba, Cinterion and Kontron. The seminar will be held at the Hellerup, Denmark on March 23rd, Stockholm, Sweden on March 24th and Helsinki, Finland on March 25th. Admission is free, but to attend the Microsoft and Intel presentations attendees will be required to sign an NDA.

During the day, Microsoft will present a detailed review of the features and benefits of the anticipated launch of Windows Embedded Standard 7, including information that will help delegates evaluate the potential of the software in their design context. Intel will be presenting an insight into the future of CPU technology – Atom and beyond. Other sessions include presentations from Microsoft on Embedded Server, Cinterion on its latest wireless technologies, and Kontron on latest application ready Embedded Computing platforms.

Delegates will benefit from exclusive information that has not yet been released into the public domain. The seminar provides an invaluable insight to the future of embedded technology from four of the industry’s major players.
